 RANONG
Punyapan Waterfall RanongThe gateway to the colony of several magnificent islands such as Koh Phayam, Koh Chang, Koh Sin Hai, Koh Khang Khao and oceanic island groups of Kam, is the first southern province on the western coast, located 568 kilometers from Bangkok. Ranong occupies an area of approximately 3,300 square kilometers with Myanmar and the Indian Ocean to the west border.

Ranong is known for the long rainy period, in Thai “Fon Paed Dad Si”, which lasts for 8 months each year. This long lasting rainfall is a geographical influence of the monsoonBald Mountain at Ranong developed in the Andaman Sea. This lends to its beautiful natural attractions, not to mention its mystical hot springs and rarely explored mangrove forests.

From Ranong, visitors may travel by speedboat only about one and a half hours to enjoy the rich nature of Surin’s underwater and rainforests. Surin Islands, world-renowned for its lush marine life lured diving and snorkeling enthusiasts from many parts of the world to come and explore the country’s largest and one of the most splendid shallow coral reefs.

Had Chan Damri at RanongFurthermore, there are also many surrounding islands with marvelous beaches, diving and snorkeling sites for visitors to relax and discover such as the ones on, Koh Phayam, Koh Khang Khao and Koh Kam, which is only a breath away.
